JUDGMENT by God?

Definitely. He is sovereign and allows the enemy entrance when we forsake Him. We just need to look into the Word to see the truth of this in past history. The Book of 'Habakkuk' portrays this clearly.

One news commentator stated that the twin towers were symbolic of the POWER and PROSPERITY of America.

The moral decay of a nation is often the fruit of a backslidden church.

Is this not symbolic of His judgment on the central thrust of the gospel coming out of America - The Prosperity / Word-faith gospel which has brought the church into its backslidden state today? This unbalanced gospel has influenced the church in every nation throughout the world - both charismatic and denominational - and has truly brought the church down to the state of Living Laodicea.

Can we still follow the Word-faith gospel and escape judgment by God?

PS: We are thankful to God for the light and revelation that has come from the US. Christian television has brought the gospel to almost every nation and has been instrumental in the Great Commission. We need to be balanced in this matter ... the prophetic message is brought with the intent of restoration and personal revival in the hearts of the readers.

We know that God often does prosper His people - yet, as He wills and sometimes, finances are needed in the kingdom of God. It is more the way that the Scriptures are taken, the overemphasis on principles and 'your' faith needed to become prosperous and the lack of the emphasis of God's sovereignty with respect to finances that is our concern. Also the whole unbalanced emphasis of this movement - the way in which Jesus is dethroned and the Word of God enthroned and distorted - does damage to your personal walk with the Lord. This is our main concern.

Voice of the Heresy Hunters - a spiritual barometer

I have observed over the decades that heresy hunters are indeed a good spiritual barometer.

They focus almost exclusively on error - that which is unbiblical and which does not conform to orthodox Christianity. Unfortunately, many times they throw the baby out with the bath water. They usually are well versed in the Scriptures but sometimes lack a deep experiential knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. However, I have found that the voice of the heresy hunters agrees with the true prophetic word. When their voice becomes united and loud concerning a movement, let us take heed to their prophetic warning.

 

For example, much has been said by the heresy hunters concerning the errors of the faith prosperity movement. Just do a keyword search in Google and see what comes up. Compare the volume of heresy articles on different movements. Great volumes indicate serious error. An unusual increase in heresy articles should be a clarion call to the Christian to stop and consider. Has a mixture come into the movement? Should I distance myself from the movement? Do I need to repent. Prayerfully consider.To simply ignore what they say is not wise.

 

Some, such as Benny Hinn, have wisely heeded their voice in the past; while others scoff at what they say.

They are God's vessels for correcting error in the body of Christ.

Don't throw out the heresy hunters!
They have a legitimate function in the body of Christ.

However, ...

The end-time burden of the Lord is two-fold:

1. Revival and restoration of His saints

2. The End-time Harvest - reaching the world, drawing all people to Jesus Christ.

The apostolic correction (leading to revival and restoration) comes from many who were once in the charismatic and Word-faith movement - and not from the heresy hunters. These saints from the wilderness identify with those who are lukewarm as they too were once in the same spiritual state. They understand the things of the Holy Spirit, unlike most of the heresy hunters.

Has the end-time harvest already begun?

There seems to be overwhelming evidence of outward revival springing up in many parts of the world. This has been happening for a number of years. Is this not the beginning of the end-time harvest? Will not the reformation which I believe began with the Toronto and Prophetic movements (although a mixture was and is present) lead to the fullness of this harvest which has already begun?

 

Notice how America and Europe are almost not mentioned. As in my article on the 'Twin Towers', I saw that the gospel coming from America (Word-faith prosperity) has brought the church down to Living Laodicea. This has influenced the entire church worldwide. However, it is strongest in America and Europe. A fruit of materialism - the cancer of the West has entered and seduced the church. This form of gospel coming strongly from the US simply has had less impact on third-world nations. Their Christianity is simple, biblical and often more Christ-centred. I believe that this is one of the main reasons why they are been favoured by God in the end-time harvest.

 

I do believe that the fullness of the harvest will include America and Europe, but that it will come on the wings of the coming reformation. The foundations need first to be uprooted. I believe that this reformation has already begun and will mature in the years ahead. It will dovetail with the harvest that has already begun.

 

WARNING: Don't read an article such as this one and respond in the flesh. Harvest work and evangelism needs to be done in His strength and in His time. Do not do things from guilt or allow preachers to persuade you to do things that have not been birthed by God in your life. Do not allow the lateness and urgency of the hour to bring guilt; causing you to respond in the flesh. Trust in Him. Don't rush God.

September 11th focused a lot of attention on the growth of Islam. What most pundits and scholars have missed is the incredible growth of Christianity, and where it's growing. Today more Presbyterians worship in the African nation of Ghana than in Scotland. And more Anglicans worship in Nigeria than in Britain.

 

We like to think of ourselves as the Christian West. But there is growing evidence that the center of Christendom has moved. Africans are running to accept Jesus Christ. It is a scene playing out all across the developing world. It may sound like an exaggeration, but it's not: Christianity is sweeping across the southern hemisphere and Asia like a tidal wave.

 

"The scale of Christian growth is almost unimaginable," said Dr. Philip Jenkins, distinguished professor of History and Religious Studies at Penn State University.

 

Jenkins says in just 20 years, two-thirds of all Christians will live in Africa, Latin America or Asia.

 

"Back in 1900, there were about 10 million Christians in Africa, representing about 10 percent of the population. Today there are 360 million, representing just under half the population. That is one of the most important changes in religious history, and I think most of us didn't notice it," he said.

 

African Matthew Ashimolowo is the pastor of the fastest growing church in England. "God is sending people who used to receive missionaries to now be missionaries around the world," Ashimolowo said.

 

Kenyan Bishop Gilbert Dya has one of the largest churches in London. "I am in this country, believing that God sent me here in Great Britain to make a voice on His behalf to let them know that they need to repent and come back to God," he said.

 

The developing world is not only a growing base for world missions, Jenkins says it is becoming the center of Christendom again.

 

Then there is China. There are about 80 million Christians in China, according to former Time Magazine Correspondent David Aikman, who predicts China will be a Christianised nation in 20 to 30 years. He does not predict a Christian majority, but a China that is 25 to 30 percent Christian. Enough, he says, to change society and government.

MIRACLES SEEN IN CHINA REVIVAL

A leader from the house church movement in Henan Province reports on the continued remarkable work of God in China

The things we are seeing now are beyond anything we ever saw or even thought possible. For example, during 'Gospel Month' - a time when we ask every believer to lead at least one person to Christ - there were 120,000 conversions in Henan alone.

God worked with us, confirming the word with signs and wonders. Without these miracles, man alone would not be able to accomplish anything.

Three sisters went to Xinyue District in Henan to evangelise, and after seven days of ministry 1,100 people repented and were saved.

It was as if there was fire in their hands, for whoever they laid their hands on, they immediately experienced a 'burning' sensation all throughout their body.

As these three sisters were evangelising, a man came up to them and began to curse them. However, they paid no attention to him.

After a long time others came to the sisters and said, 'Why is it you show compassion to this man, even though he is cursing you?'

As soon as they said this the man collapsed and died. It caused great awe and reverence toward the Lord in the crowd of people who witnessed this judgment of God.

Many repented and accepted Jesus. In previous years when missionaries worked here, they didn't see such numbers converted even after several dozen years. We sense now that this is the time for the Holy Spirit to mightily work through us.

Though there are many difficulties in open street evangelism here, during the Chinese New Year festivals it is easier to go out into the open to preach the gospel.

A whole group of sisters were preaching when some police officials suddenly appeared.

One stretched out his hand toward the sisters and shouted, 'Arrest them!'

However, immediately his ann turned stiff in its stretched out position and he was not able to put it down or retract it. He went back to the police station and in desperation asked, 'What can I do?' Someone said, 'You must find a Christian to pray for you.

Therefore they invited our preachers to the police station to pray for him, and when they did, he was healed!

They then preached to the police and many of them accepted the Lord.

Previously, during our open air meetings, few people would pay any attention. Now, everywhere when we go out with our tambourines and other instruments to share about Jesus, crowds of people stop everything they are doing to attend our meetings.

As we preach, many cry out, 'We have never heard such good news in all our lives. Why has nobody told us this before?'

The people forget about all their plans and activities and remain for hours to listen to the gospel. It is truly the fire of the Holy Spirit burning in our midst.

THE BIGGEST REVIVAL IN CHURCH HISTORY
It's happening TODAY - in Communist China

Persecution of believers in China has increased since the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. But the Chinese Church grows by an estimated 10,000 to 15,000 new believers each day, making it the largest revival in the history of the Church. The Cultural Revolution of the mid-sixties in China led to much oppression of Christians. All churches were closed and desecrated. It became illegal to hold Christian meetings and all forms of evangelism were forbidden. Christian homes were searched; Bibles and hymnals were either confiscated or burnt. Many believers lost their lives at the hands of the Red Guards and others were sent to remote labour camps.

In this very tightly-controlled, totalitarian society, every move was under scrutiny from local party officials. Despite such extreme opposition, there were many Christians who refused to join the government-controlled church, known as the 'Three Self Patriotic Movement' or TSPM. Instead, they met in small groups in their own homes. They were keenly evangelistic and also focused on worship, prayer and Bible study.

The church had gone 'underground': in some cases quite literally, meeting in caves or cellars! This basic pattern of a church not restricted to buildings has carried on. Meetings have continued to take place in courtyards or fields, sometimes late at night.

After 1979 when attempts to curb the growth of Christianity was seen to have failed, the TSPM opened a few city churches. Some believers welcomed the opportunity to worship more freely, but others continued to meet secretly, suspicious of the motives of the TSPM.

The persecution persisted and believers from house churches suffered many injustices, including fines and public beatings. Arrests and the confiscation of Bibles were reported in 16 out of a total of 30 provinces during the period 1982-1985. The post-Cultural Revolution era in China has been marked by an equally oppressive anti-religious policy.

This became even tighter after the tragedy of Tiananmen Square. Around 2,000 -3,000 people, protesting for reform and democracy, lost their lives, crushed by the tanks of the People's Liberation Army.

House church members had brought food for the protesting students and many showed their support for the Democracy Movement. One leader carried a ten-foot high cross into the Square, followed by his 50-strong congregation, singing hymns and handing out tracts. The aftermath led to even greater controls over the church, with leading hard-line figures condemning the 'subversive' nature of 'hostile foreign forces' associated with Christianity. As one official Chinese propaganda video states menacingly: "China must strangle the baby of Christianity while it is still in its manger."

But the revival flourishes in all provinces. Eighty million people have been baptised since the Communists took over in 1949, many in secret.

Signs and wonders accompany the powerful preaching of the gospel with many healings and miracles. Liberated worship in the open air in some areas amazes onlookers with its dancing, tambourines and gospel songs.

Street preaching can land leaders in prison, but it doesn't stop them sharing the love of Jesus inside with inmates getting converted! Itinerant evangelists also play an important part in spreading the word, on dirt tracks or highways, by bicycles or buses.

The power of the Holy Spirit is moving over all sections of society from, the remote rural regions to the cities. Tears, powerful intercession and spiritual release in tongues are increasing features of the reviving work.

This continues to alarm the authorities. In a meeting in March, 1992, of the Communist Party's propaganda department, Hu Qiaomu, an arch conservative, warned of the resurgence of religion.

"If this continues," he said, "there will be more religious believers than Communist believers."

From one million known Christians in 1949, there are now an estimated 60 million believers. Between 10,000 and 15,000 are added to the church each day! Numerically, it is the greatest revival in Church history and it is beginning to change the moral and spiritual climate of the most populated nation on the earth.

SIGNS AND WONDERS REPORTED FROM INDIA

God is on the move in India today and reports of revival are now reaching the West. Whole villages are being converted to Christ often amid fierce persecution

At a recent pastors' congress it was estimated that in one region over 17,000 people are turning to Jesus every day and that a church is established every three minutes.
A mixture of poverty, injustice and religious dissatisfaction has opened India to the gospel. For many thousands of people, the Christian message of forgiveness, justice and love is truly good news!

As evangelists and churches move among the people with increased faith and love, God is sending amazing signs, according to these reports.

Demons complain to witch doctors
In one area of Bihar, a village lived in fear of its four witch-doctors, who controlled people by cursing their cattle and their relatives. When the Christian evangelists arrived, these witch-doctors warned them that they would be cursed, too.
The Christians continued to love the people in Jesus' name, and in a few weeks the witch-doctors came to ask the secret of their power. They had called up demonic powers to attack the Christians, but the demons had returned saying, "We can do nothing against them, as they are surrounded by angels and by fire."

As they spoke with the evangelists, the conviction of God fell on all four and they were converted and delivered from evil! The whole village followed, amazed at God's power.

Leper healed by mystery man
One man was so consumed by leprosy that he decided to end his life. As he walked to the railway line to throw himself in front of a train, a man in a white robe came and walked with him. After talking for a while, the man in white vanished and the leprosy was totally gone!
That healed man is now winning whole villages for Christ.

Believers undaunted by fierce persecution
There is persecution to face, too. Landowners, fearing the overthrow of traditional systems, have had converts tortured and killed. One young man began to proclaim Jesus in his village soon after his conversion. Within weeks he was beaten to death, but today a church has been planted in that village.
In another village, a Christian leader called Sandhu was arrested and forced to stand on red-hot bricks for 10 minutes. This was to be the test: if he was not burned, his faith was the true one. While the other Christians prayed, Sandhu stood on the coals and was not burned! That very day, 47 new converts were baptised.

"Our gods do not answer"
An eye-witness reports on revival in Bihar
"We have traveled to many villages in the area. The people are hungry for truth. They say, 'We are tired of our own religion, because we pray to our gods but they do not hear us or answer our cries.'

"Over 150,000 have been converted over recent months, and one church there has already planted five more churches. It is such a joy to see the Holy Spirit move. We pray for the sick and they are healed.

"One woman had much evil power and was worshipped as a god by the people. Now she has trusted in Jesus and her life is transformed!

"One man had visited all the Hindu shrines in the state, looking for answers, but got nothing. He has now found Christ and is winning others.

"We are received with much love and generosity by people who have next to nothing to give, the Holy Spirit is sending revival. Indigenous churches are being planted among previously hostile tribal peoples."

End-time Unity - The Mystery Unveiled

Unity comes in the end-time move. HISTORIC PROTESTANT, CATHOLIC and CHARISMATIC truth are woven into the end-time tapestry.

This is why Jeanne Guyon's work 'Experiencing the depths of Jesus Christ' is so important as 'essential wilderness material'. It establishes the foundation of the coming move - based on HISTORIC PROTESTANT CHRISTIANITY.
Her ministry and work was highly recommended by Watchman Nee, Fenelon, Count Zinzendorf, John Wesley, the early Quakers and Hudson Taylor. They all highly recommended it to the believers of their day.

This foundation has has roots in the CATHOLIC CHURCH for many centuries. Fenelon, John of the Cross and others have all been rooted in this foundation.

It also leads us into His Presence and is the gateway to the gifts of the Holy Spirit (CHARISMATIC).

True unity comes in the last move and the personal relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ is emphasised fulfilling REVELATION 3:20.

Unfortunately, this foundation has been lacking in the end-time move so far - both in the Toronto movement and in the Prophetic movement. Instead on bringing unity, there has been confusion and much division.

Truly, I believe that the Lord's plan and desire is to reach the entire body of Christ - HISTORIC PROTESTANT, CATHOLIC and CHARISMATIC - in the coming move of God.

This will also result in a unity in WORSHIP. The wall that has always separated the charismatics and the historical protestants will be uprooted. The fleshy praise of the charismatics will go. Life will come into the worship of historical protestants. The praise and worship of the coming move will be similar to Benny Hinn's ministry of leading saints into the presence of God. This is the fruit of the true wilderness foundation.

Selah.

NOTE: This is not a unity of compromise, doctrinally or otherwise. Repentance and responding to the Holy Spirit's call will bring about this unity.

 

The Core

A parable. The inner core of the earth ceases to function normally. It ceased to rotate and became 'dead'. This affects the shield surrounding the earth and abnormal apocalyptic phenomena begin to occur - holes in the ozone layer, abnormal storms and lightening destroying parts of cities. If the problem with the core is not restored, the earth will be destroyed by fire.

Similarly, if the foundation of the Christian is not rock-solid, everything he or she does will be off-balance and out of orbit. It will manifest at times and will bring death and destruction to many. The root is not on the surface only - just getting into the flesh - but much deeper - that of a shaky foundation.

 

Many agree with the above. However, few understand the true foundation that the Lord wants to establish in their lives. They still follow preachers who are off-balance. They are truly blind. This is the mystery which I am slowly unveiling on this web site. Those with the true foundation see clearly.

 

This is what has happened to the Word-faith Prosperity Movement. The foundation is not that of the normal Christian. It manifests in false doctrine at times. Many have seen this and the voice of the heresy hunters has become very loud and clear. Most importantly, it distorts our relationship with Jesus and keeps us from the living water.

 

This also occurred to some extent in the Toronto movement. A shaky foundation manifested itself in the flesh and even in the demonic. However, let us not throw out the baby with the bath water. The presence of God was there and truly this was a breath of flesh air after the Word-faith Prosperity movement.

 

NOTE: This rock-solid foundation that is being restored is not that of attending a good bible school. Although that is profitable, the fruit depends largely on whether the true foundation is in a Christian's life and Bible School or not. I speak from experience. I attended and completed a Charismatic Bible School which discouraged waiting on the Lord. They saw the dangers of the demonic and rejected the Toronto movement completely. Should we indeed throw the baby out with the bath water?

 

The Toronto movement emphasises a corporate experience of Jesus Christ. The foundation that I speak of is that of a deep personal experience of Jesus Christ - the wilderness foundation. I believe that the coming tsunami of God will have both and that the deep personal foundation will be restored. This has been missing until now...

The magnetopause is the boundary between the area in which the Earth's magnetic field dominates and the magnetic field of the rest of the Solar System dominates.

Auroras (type of the anointing) :
Charged particles become trapped on the field lines of the magnetosphere. Auroras appear when trapped particles from the solar wind spiral towards a pole. These beautiful arcs of lights in the near-polar sky are caused by gases that become excited after being hit by solar particles. Most auroras are 100 to 250 km above the ground.
