The Vision

East London, South Africa Past prophecies. A coming outpouring of the Holy Spirit. A world-wide vision. A vision, not from man, but from God. Once ignited, the fire spreads from East London, South Africa to the rest of Africa and the rest of the world. The River Ministries, who are TBN Africa (the Headquarters of TBN in Africa), have recently made public this vision of a move of God beginning in East London and touching the world. Two ministries become instrumental in this (as put forward by TBN Africa). Benny Hinn, came early in June to East London for a one night meeting. A video clip can be seen below. This initial meeting is seen (by TBN Africa) as the catalyst of what is to come. The main thrust of the outpouring will take place when Rodney Howard-Brown (the man behind the Toronto Movement [1][2][3][4][5]) ministers later during June 2009 (as put forward by TBN Africa).

Howard-Browne became well-known in the 1990s for leading revival meetings where participants often laughed uncontrollably after being touched by the power of God. Today Browne's services are still marked by what he describes as joy, and he sees his current emphasis on evangelism as part of the same move of God.

Very significant. Revival Central's main purpose over the years has been to emphasise the coming worldwide move of God (which is still to take place) - the last revival throughout the earth before the coming of the Lord. However, even though I confirm that this is the true plan of God - His plan for the end-time church - I strongly feel that this final move will not occur through these events outlined above. I see this tsunami coming soon and that the Eastern Cape, South Africa has a very prominent role to play in this coming outpouring. The beginning of the final outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Report: The unholy marriage between the Prosperity Gospel and the End-time Harvest. We have seen this in East London, South Africa. I believe that the doorkeeper (the Holy Spirit) will only open the door fully (the coming tidal wave) when the thieves and robbers (Prosperity Gospel) is rooted out [JOHN 10 "To him the doorkeeper opens"]. This grieves the Holy Spirit. The old foundations must go! These old foundations will not be present in the Coming Tidal Wave which is still to come. The Coming Tidal Wave comes through death - the way of the cross - the highway in the wilderness; and not the old foundations - especially not the Prosperity Gospel!

Can you imagine Paul, Peter, John or Jesus crying for money like we do?  We Charismatics are particularly guilty.  
On the one hand we all cry for a return to New Testament Book of Acts Christianity, but on the other hand we feel we need lots of money to spread the Gospel.  We do not merely ask for money but we beg, plead, lie, con, mislead and entice for money...

The Charismatic Church will have NO REVIVAL until she renounces her dependence upon and love of MONEY.   If she will not, God will take away her candlestick of godly authority.  He removed the authority of the Roman Catholic Church and many Protestant denominations such as the Methodists, Congregationalists and others... We want to minister like Peter and John but we don’t want to live like them. Many of us have become infected with the LAODICEAN spirit of the Saul Church... He [God] does not even mind if a man gets blessed financially, but it is AN ABOMINATION the way we plead for money; especially while the pleader has a $500,000 home, a $3,000 a month housing allowance, an ample expense account, and a $l00, 000 a year salary... When the anointing goes....Get all the money you can…You'll need it...But men that greatly value money will cry, "You don't understand!  Times are different now!  The modern kingdom of God NEEDS money and lots of it!” That’s true, the Saul Church DOES need lots of money; especially lately, because the Anointing is going and soon will be completely gone...We can see in the Church today how our appeals for money have become much more sophisticated and much stronger.  At first, the appeal was usually based on guilt, "If you don't give, many will be lost forever and you will bear the responsibility of not having given to this ministry.” Greed has now become one of the best methods of gathering money.  Modern Christian psychology has taught us that positive motivation is better than negative motivation.  “If you give...you’ll get…”... If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon (the least), who will commit to your trust the true riches (spiritual riches).”  Another way of putting it is if you don’t know how to deal correctly with unrighteous mammon (the least), how can you be expected to be given the responsibility of dealing with godly or spiritual matters (the true riches)?

However, many are coming to Jesus in these meetings and on the streets; and many have been baptised in the Holy Spirit too. We rejoice in this and support this advancement of the gospel. Recently, there has been a shift from outer court praise towards worship. This is an important and positive shift in the meetings. News Report Although I am teaching about new foundations - which point in the same direction of experiencing His Presence and love, it is very important that we do not move from discernment into criticism. Criticism is of man. When we live in His Presence and take up His cross, true discernment comes. It is important to enter into the essence of the Toronto movement (Presence of God) and Prophetic movement. Some, even ministers of the gospel, criticise these movements and do not enter in. We need to experience the glory of His Presence in these movements; while avoiding the excesses. Have you been drinking from His well? Has His Presence enveloped you like a blanket? This is so much more that the initial baptism in the Holy Spirit that many have experienced... I, personally, have kept a DISTANCE from these movements - Gideon's company prophecies: the narrowing of the way toward the final wave. However, I have FULLY experienced the essence of both these movements which are the beginning of the end-time move of God - the latter rain. I also encourage all those reading to download the tracts and mp3 audio which can be used as a tool by God to reach many who are lost. Remember that 'the flesh profits nothing'. Head counts mean nothing. Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and to the sovereignty of our Lord of the harvest. Salvation must be all of God and none of man. 'Urgency to win the lost at any cost' can be completely of the flesh or a mixture where the flesh predominates It is better to know Jesus deeply. A genuine anointing will come and many to come to Jesus as they see this in your life. (Comment: would have liked to have seen repentance mentioned in tracts. We receive Jesus as both Savior and Lord of our lives).

However, I know that the greatest harvest lies just ahead - at the time when the final tidal wave breaks forth throughout the earth. It will be all of God; none of man. Presently, there is a mixture that manifests. Remember, the final harvest comes from revival - a sovereign move of God, and not from a series of evangelistic meetings or the mobilization of saints. Street Revival
We see the emergence of street evangelism in Howard-Browne's Great Awakening meetings on a large scale. Is this the beginning of the street revival that many have seen that will emerge in the last of the last days?

Al Dager reveals that "there are also reports of demonic oppression, suicidal feelings, and loss of faith after the holy laughter experience...We have "tested the spirit" of this "anointing" using the Word and cannot find anything to validate this phenomena. This should put up warning flags and tell us there is something wrong...In Acts 19:6 the results of laying on of hands was speaking in tongues and prophesying. Again, no animal sounds, no uncontrollable laughter, no staggering around.

Although today's holy laughter proponents like to point to Jonathan Edwards as validation for their practices, history doesn't line up with their claims. The fact of the matter is, there is no true historical precedent for what is occurring today with Rodney Howard-Browne (More [1][2]), or at the Vineyard and other holy laughter meetings. And even if there were a true historical precedent, it would mean, at best, that whatever is motivating today's holy laughter participants motivated someone before. So what? There is no Biblical precedent.... Since, by John Wimber's own admission, "there's nothing in Scripture that supports these kinds of phenomena," they must be classified as unbiblical or, at best, extra-Biblical. Let us assume the best -- that they are extra-Biblical ...Charisma publisher Steven Strang goes even further in urging caution. Strang's perceptions are valid. He went to Toronto; he experienced something there himself; yet he is reticent to endorse it because it cannot be validated by God's Word...Because men do not love the truth (God's Word) More

Derek Prince, writing in the 2/95 Charisma, states:

"I believe the Holy Spirit at times produces in people prolonged, exuberant and apparently causeless laughter. I have to believe it, because that is how I was saved more than 50 years ago" (p. 52).

Charisma magazine quotes Jonathan Edwards, "pioneer of the First Great Awakening in the 1730s," whose revivals led to tears and laughter. One who is convicted of sin might well laugh or cry after he has felt release from the condemnation and control of sin, which comes with confession and repentance. But there is no evidence he will bark like a dog or make other animal noises. The manifestation have historically been attributed to demonic spirits, not to the Holy Spirit. Benny Hinn: There is no such thing as a laughing revival. There is no such thing as a laughing - it is not in the Bible. I do not see it in the Bible. Much of what happens is pure emotionalism - contagious laughter. What does it do except make you look stupid? I am not interested in some emotional up” (“Praise The Lord,” July 4, 1997).  Previously, the South Africa–born Howard-Browne has styled himself as the "bartender of holy laughter," a charismatic manifestation that has ranged from uncontrollable laughter to the noises of animals. Five years ago, his teaching on "holy laughter" initiated the "Toronto Blessing" that led to a worldwide charismatic renewal and controversy (CT, Oct. 24, 1994, p. 78). The manifestations became so contentious that the Vineyard Association of Churches severed ties with the Toronto Airport church where they originated (CT, Jan. 8, 1996, p. 66). Lakeland

Some have thought that Lakeland was the beginning of the final tidal wave / or the large birth pang before the final tidal wave.

I am certain that it will not come from the Prophetic Movement but from the wilderness.

Just as the Toronto Movement exited from center stage when John Wimber and the Vineyard departed, I see a similar demise of the Prophetic Movement. Is the Todd Bentley/ Rick Joyner/ Lee Grady dispute the turning point? The Prophetic Movement must decrease. Just before the Prophetic Movement came to center stage the departure of John Wimber and the Vineyard from the Toronto Movement occurred. This was an indication that a change was coming. So too, today, has the time come for the next change - the exiting of the Prophetic Movement from center stage and the emergence of the wilderness for the final tidal wave? What is lacking in the Prophetic Movement? I see a different emphasis in the final tidal wave. There is a shift from the prophetic to a close intimacy with Jesus Christ. This foundation is not present in the Prophetic Movement. The foundation of this deeper closeness is Jeanne Guyon's Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ and other classics such as Michael Molinos's Spiritual Guide. Their emphasis is intimacy with Jesus Christ and the cross becomes central in this deeper intimacy. This is a different foundation and emphasis to that of the Prophetic Movement. It is Revelation 3:20. The Toronto Movement emphasised the restoration of the Presence of God. The Prophetic Movement emphasises hearing His voice. The Final Wave emphasis is Jesus Christ - knowing Him deeply and embracing His cross. The Presence of God and hearing His voice will also be present, yet in a balanced way avoiding the extremes and unhealthy tendencies of both the Toronto and Prophetic Movements. In a nutshell, this end-time movement - Toronto, Prophetic and Final Wave - is Revelation 3:20.

Malachi's Picture of the Coming Revival:
He suddenly comes to His temple as a Refiner's fire

Many focus on tithing when considering Malachi. However, this is not the central prophetic emphasis of Malachi.

The emphasis is the sudden coming of Jesus as the Refiner and as a swift Judge. The areas central to judgment are (1) a lack of reverence (2) impure* worship - mixture of 'in the flesh' and 'in the Spirit' (3) worldliness. This is a necessary prerequisite for the coming worldwide revival. Consider the article (/s) under Praise and Worship for greater clarity concerning this.

* "Opening the windows of heaven" and "pouring out for you such blessing that there will not be enough room to receive it" is related to the offering. In the context of chapter 1, to rob God was to bring something other than "a pure offering". In the New Testament, this is primarily a type of the worship we offer and is much broader than tithing alone! It primarily means that we are not to do anything in the flesh as the flesh profits nothing. Unfortunately, the church as a whole has majored on the minors and minored on the majors.

DEREK PRINCE:  

"Most of what is called worship in the Charismatic movement is not worship at all...... it is soulish...... Much of the music that we have in church today appeals to the soul, stimulates the soul, It is very much the same kind of music as is used in the world to stimulate the soul........ Having lived five years in Africa, I am aware that certain repetitive themes and rhythms can deaden your sensitivity. If you sit under that long enough, especially when it is very loud, you lose the capacity to discern. And in Africa those rhythms are used to call up demons."

"In the Charismatic move, Christians have brought the brass of the world into the temple of the Lord as a substitute for pure gold. What they have is a mixture; it is not pure. Therefore, I can only bless My people so far, because they have substituted brass for gold. They’ve brought the CLAPPING and DANCING of the world into the temple."

A glimpse into the Coming Revival:

Malachi 4: 2-3

But to you who fear my name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings,
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles
of your feet
On the day that I do this,"
Says the Lord of hosts.

In Malachi 4:1 "the day is coming, burning like an oven", we see the conditions that precede the coming outpouring of His Spirit. We are in an oven. The heat is turned up. Is this not what is happening today, especially in the US as economic conditions worsen?

Healing will be central in the coming outpouring. The miraculous will be the hallmark of the coming Tsunami. It will come from those who have grown fat like stall-fed calves in the wilderness [Malachi 4: 1-3].

Jonah - Understanding the timing of the Coming Tsunami in the midst of the Storm

Truly, the American church and by extension the church worldwide (as being influenced by the US) can be likened to Jonah going down into the ship headed for Tarshish. Jonah went down into the lowest parts of the ship and fell fast asleep.

The church has slipped into a deep sleep, embracing the easy message of ease, success and prosperity (Prosperity gospel) and other forms of Charismania that deny the way of the cross such as the Lakeland revival.

However, God has in His mercy sent a storm - a severe global economic storm - to wake us up and to bring revival to Nineveh. Surely we are in the midst of the economic storm now and should expect the ship (our comfortable success and prosperity gospel) to shatter soon. Some have already been thrown overboard and are seeking Him for restoration in the depths of the sea.

I believe and sense the Holy Spirit indicating that we are closer to the coming Tsunami of the the Holy Spirit than ever before. It is imminent. Let us cast aside all weights and things that will hinder us from fulfilling His call as we await His summons to Nineveh.

As we come out of the place of prayer, covered in seaweed and barnacles (Presence and anointing of the Spirit) and bleached from the large fish, the world will recognize the anointing and repent as the Jonah's arise and go to Nineveh.

However, the revival in Nineveh is short and Nineveh eventually returns to its ways and is judged by God years later. Similarly the world will descend into tribulation after this coming Tsunami and darkness will once again descend upon the earth. However, the Lord is coming to take us [the revived church] to Himself very soon and we will escape the coming darkness that is to descend upon this earth.

HUDSON TAYLOR'S VISION 1855
This vision was received while he was preaching in Britain, on furlough from China.
'I have seen a vision. I saw in this vision a great war that encompasses the world. I saw this war recede and then start again, actually being two wars. after this I saw much unrest and revolts that will affect many nations. I saw in some places spiritual awakenings.
'In Russia I saw there will come a general all-encompassing national spiritual awakening spread to many European countries. Then I saw an all-out awakening, followed by the coming of Christ.'

THE GREAT REVIVAL - SMITH WIGGLESWORTH.
This prophecy was given at the annual Elim conference in 1947
'During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain.
The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit
'The second move of the holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.
'In the duration of each of these moves, the people involved will say, "This is a great revival." But the Lord says, "No, neither is the great revival but both are steps towards it."
'When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.
'When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, indeed the world has even seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years. The outpouring of God's Spirit will flow over from the United Kingdom to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.'

The shaking is not only of THE ECONOMY, but also of POLITICS and KINGDOMS. Recently, resignations of heads of state have occurred in Israel and South Africa. The US are to have elections in November. The UK is also experiencing a political shaking. Observe the extent of the shaking - the NATURAL, the ECONOMY, POLITICS...

Seeing the Two Monsters in the midst of the Storm

Job: a type of the end-time Christian

Job mainly knew health and prosperity. Many today talk the talk and make much noise but do not have a deep close walk with Jesus Christ and know not the depth of His Presence.

Matthew 15: 8-9

These people draw near to Me with
their mouth,
And honour Me with their lips,
But their heart is far from Me.
And in vain they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the
commandments of men.

In the midst of the whirlwind (storm), God showed Job two monsters - Leviathan and Behemoth. Some scholars believe these to have been the hippo and the crocodile. God was showing Job that man could not overcome these two monsters. No matter how they prayed, confessed or spoke to their mountains, they remained steadfast. Only God can defeat and remove the monsters.

Suddenly Job's eyes were opened. He saw the truth - that God is sovereign and in control. He realized that he must accept the current circumstances as from the hand of God. He became still. God would deliver him in His own time. Job learnt to embrace the cross.

Job's Counselors

They insisted that Job had hidden sin in his life. Similarly today, the Prosperity Movement teaches that poverty indicates a lack of faith or hidden sin. They dogmatically hold on to this teaching and become Job's critics in the hour of the storm. Severe trials and testing will increase * as we approach the end of the age. Instead, we need to teach the church how to draw near to Jesus and to drink deeply of His living water; to let the life of God strengthen us in these last days so that we can echo the words of Apostle Paul, 'I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.'

This is why some have said that worship will be the central theme of the final move of God. In other words, we drink of this life of God through worship, strengthening us to endure the latter-day trials. The Word of God simply points us in this direction.

*The Scriptures do clearly indicate that we will escape the worst of the trials that occur during the Tribulation, occurring after the Rapture.

Meeting Jesus in the midst of the Storm

Foundational text: Matt 14: 22-36

The economic storm has worsened. In the forth watch (3am until sunrise), Jesus went to them walking on the sea. Expect the Final Move of the Holy Spirit to break out shortly. Some will think it is of Satan (a ghost) when the miraculous breaks out. Others are willing to step out of the boat and to walk with Jesus on the water.

I believe that those who have been in the wilderness will spearhead the coming move of God. Remember that Jesus set us the example by going up on the mountain to pray and He was alone there. Selah. Pause. Think about this.

When Jesus got into the boat the wind ceased. Is Jesus really in our boat? Are we headed for Tarshish? Has fear gripped our hearts as we hear the continual reports of the ever-worsening storm. Let us repent for rejecting the prophetic word from trusted servants such as David Wilkerson and Leonard Ravenhill. Their word concerning these events is truly being fulfilled before our eyes.

Consider the context. Jesus fed the 5000 before this scene takes place. His financial provision is there if we walk with Him. Fear will go. Calmness will come in the midst of the storm - when Jesus is in our boat and we are walking in His plan and His purpose.

I personally have seen His miraculous provision in the midst of the storm. Truly, His people need not fear if they dwell in the secret place of the Most High. However, His people will suffer if they have not heeded the warnings of His servants to prepare in the years of plenty which preceded the years of famine.

Many know the Scriptures but do not know Jesus intimately. Actually He is not in their boat. We experientially know Jesus by abiding in Him and His love. We sense when He is grieved. We begin to know Him through His Presence. We grow to know His character - what He approves and displeases Him. This is not the same as simply reading the Scriptures. More is needed. He desires a close walk with His children and that we know Him deeply. Being a student of His Word is not sufficient. We need to know Him personally through His Presence and to walk with Him and in His love continually.

Healing is also prominent in this passage (verse 35-36). Healing will be central in the coming move of the Holy Spirit. Kathryn Kuhlman believed that a day is coming when all the saints would be healed.

Will America cross over and become powerful once again?

No. America will become weaker and weaker. Europe will become stronger and stronger. The Antichrist comes forth out of Europe and that is nearer than many realize.

Judgment has settled on America. The curses of Deuteronomy 28 are at work. Although Jesus has a remnant in America, the nation as a whole has "the writing on the wall." Judgment has already been pronounced and has been unfolding over the past few years.

The Birth of a New World Order

Obama's change in foreign policy from the Christian position of strong support for Israel to negotiation (after negotiations had failed and sanctions imposed) and a softer approach with Israel's enemies together with the global financial crises could well be the beginnings of the new world order which will ultimately be ruled by the Antichrist.

Morally there is a shift away from godly policies. Abortion and gay marriages are promoted by the new administration. There is also a shift from free market policies to a more state-controlled and socialist nation.

I see this prophetic word (below) being true for the coming worldwide revival in the kingdom of God but not true of a national recovery of a nation, although in the past, sometimes, the two have been together.

Judgment still rests on America. Consider Robert Holmes's prophecy above [3]. Consider Habakkuk. I see the reason for the judgment is given in the passage below:

Habakkuk 2:4:

Then the Lord answered me and said:

Write the vision
And make it plain on tablets,
That he may run who reads it,
For the vision is yet for an appointed
time;
But at the end, it will speak, and it will
not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith.

I believe that the nations will judge America as the nations judged Israel in Habakkuk's day. They will come in as described in Robert Holme's vision above. But I also see the vision as a double reference to the coming worldwide outpouring of the Holy Spirit - the latter rain. Although many have waited a long time for the coming worldwide revival, it will come. Though it tarries wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

The verse

Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith.

Proud (aphal) speaks of presumption. The faith that has been coming forth from America through the Prosperity Word-Faith Movement is a presumptuous faith and not a waiting faith. It is one in which the flesh predominates. Do the Scriptures not say that judgment comes to the proud? The faith coming forth is different to that of Hudson Taylor and the spiritual giants of the past. I believe that this is the central reason for the judgment that is resting on America. Let us not continue down this road of presumptuous faith but look to Him for the vision of the coming revival because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

China's Revival

Consider the faith of those who lay the foundations of this revival in China - Hudson Taylor, Watchman Nee.

"Many other groups and movements have been influenced by the writings of Jeanne Guyon, but one of the greatest influences this book (Experiencing the depths of Jesus Christ) has ever had was during the 1920's in China. At that time this book reached a young man destined by God to be one of the best known of His servants in this century. The book fell into the hands of Watchman Nee....it constituted one of the major influences in his life; and as a result, the book became an indirect influence on the lives of many of his co-workers. Hudson Taylor also highly recommended it to the believers of his day."

Understanding the Wilderness

Many have been called by God into the wilderness over the past decades. The purpose of this has been to restore the true faith - the same as possessed by Hudson Taylor, Watchman Nee and Jeanne Guyon - to His people. This is a necessary prerequisite for the coming worldwide revival.

We are living in the day when God is about to release His Glory.

The Great Shaking

A great shaking will take place.
Afterwards there will be a shaking in the kingdom of God;
Then the end will come.

Words spoken by the Holy Spirit years ago.

I clearly remember the time when I uttered these words and knew at the time that they were significant. It was one of those moments when the Presence of God manifested unusually and such an eternal moment is never forgotten. The fullness of the shaking is upon us now! The great shaking precedes the coming tsunami of God - sovereignty brought about by His hand in the core - the depths of Jesus Christ - in His remnant waiting in the wilderness.

HAGGAI  2:   v6-9: 

"For thus says the Lord of Hosts:
Once more (it is a little while) I will SHAKE heaven and earth the sea and dry land;
and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations,
and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts.
'The silver is Mine, and the GOLD is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts.
The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,'
says the Lord of hosts.
'And in this place I will give PEACE,' says the Lord of hosts.'

First, the WORLD is shaken. This occurs in the (1) natural. There is a significant exponential increase in the birth pangs which Jesus spoke of which will precede His coming for His people, with a special emphasis in the natural.

In the heavens - strong winds, hurricanes (2005 record year in US - 26 storms surpassing the record of 21 set in 1933, including Hurricane Katrina - the costliest natural disaster in U.S. history).
On the earth - fires (California Fires), heat wave (SE Europe 26/07/2007), floods (2007 - the year of floods: South Asia - India, Bangladesh and Nepal - the current floods across South Asia are being considered as the worst floods in living memory, Southern Pakistan, Jakarta floods - Indonesia, Intense rain in Central and Southern South America has caused flooding to occur in Argentina, Bolivia (February), US (Texas), UK & Wales (July 2007), Australia - Gippsland, China (June, July), Korea (August), Africa - massive flooding in a third of Africa : August, September 2007, the worst in decades, Mexico - "not just the worst natural catastrophe in the state's history but, I would venture to say, one of the worst in the country's recent history"), South Africa.
Under the earth - earthquakes, tsunamis (Thailand, India, Indonesia 26/12/2004 Measured in lives lost, this is one of the ten worst earthquakes in recorded history, as well as the single worst tsunami in history).

(2) The nations will be shaken. Wars and rumours of wars will increase. Terrorism (11/9/2001). Watch Iran.

ISAIAH 59:19, 60:1-3

So shall they fear
The name of the Lord from the west,
And His glory from the rising of the
sun;
[worldwide demonstration of the God's glory
- causing awe and wonder among the nations]

When the enemy comes in like a FLOOD,
The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a
STANDARD against him.

Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen
upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the
earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will rise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your
rising.

Note: Both (1) and (2) have occurred simultaneously in Africa recently (August-September). The countries torn apart by civil war and rumours of war have been worst affected by severe flooding, the worst flooding in decades. Much of Africa's harvest has been destroyed by the floods. Some predict that 2008 is be a year of disaster without compare as famine, war and death grips most of Africa.

Many intercessors have sensed that the coming worldwide outpouring of the Holy Spirit (tidal wave) to be concentrated in the regions where the floods have come i.e. first-world nations. The natural precedes the spiritual. What of Africa? The floods in Africa have been far far more severe than that of Europe and the US. Does the recent catastrophic floods indicate Africa's central role in the coming worldwide move of God?

Afterwards there will be a shaking in the KINGDOM OF GOD - the coming tsunami of God.

Sovereignty and grace is stamped on this final work of the Lord and is confirmed by the 5 "I will" 's in the closing verses of Haggai.

Then the end will come.

The Purpose of the Shaking

SEPTEMBER 24, 2007: I am raising up my chosen vessels sovereignty in this hour of shaking, says the Lord. They have the true foundation deeply established in their natures. A deep personal fellowship with Jesus Christ and the deep work of the cross are central to this foundation.

At the same time, the world is being shaken, its strength weakened. Fear and uncertainly grips the hearts of the people of this world. Their knees knock together in fear. The Lord's intention is that every knee shall bow and that they surrender their lives to His Salvation and Lordship. Every knee shall bow - whether in this day of grace or at the Great White Throne judgment. However, the Lord is gracious and kind and does not desire that any should perish.

The 5 'I wills" emphasize God's sovereign hand in this season:

HAGGAI 2: 21-23:

I will shake heaven and earth.
I will other throw the throne of
kingdoms;
I will destroy the strength of the
gentile kingdoms.
I will overthrow the chariots
And those who ride in them;
The horses and their riders shall come
down,
Everyone by the sword of his brother.

'In that day', says the Lord of hosts, 'I
will take you, Zerubbabel My servant, the
son of Shealtiel,' says the Lord, 'and I will
make you as a signet ring, for I have chosen
you,' says the Lord of hosts.

My blessing will increase and rest on these vessels of Mine. Many of My people are under My curse HAGGAI 1:6. Many take My plans and My purpose from others, but do not have the true foundation established in their hearts. From this day, I am raising My vessels and My blessing will rest on them alone.

I will make them as a signet ring. Apostolic authority will rest on these vessels and will increase significantly in the days ahead. Their message is 'The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine.' As My people are taken from glory to glory in the coming sovereign move of My Spirit, a sifting and refining will take place. The brass will go. Only the gold - the pure gold - will remain in My temple. Those who heed and welcome My vessels will have My blessing rest on them. Those who choose to go their own way and reject My vessels and their message will remain under My curse.

The curse on today's Laodicean church is given in HAGGAI 1:6:

Now therefore, thus says the Lord of
hosts: "Consider your ways!

You have sown much, and bring in
little;
You eat, but do not have enough;
You drink, but you are not filled with
drink;
You clothe yourselves, but no one is
warm;
And he who earns wages,
Earns wages to put into a bag with
holes."

The way out - HAGGAI 1:7-8:

Thus says the Lord of hosts: "Consider your ways!
Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified," says the Lord.

Spend time alone with Jesus Christ. Prayer. Go up to the mountains. Bring wood - solid wood not melamine - which comes from spending time in His Presence. However, there also needs a shift in the foundations. More that simply spending more time in prayer. The foundations need to be changed!

In the year that King Uzziah died...

Isaiah 6 : 1-4

In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw
the Lord sitting on a throne, high and
lifted up,
and the train of His robe filled the
temple.
Above it stood seraphim; each one had
six wings:with two he covered his face, with
two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

And one cried to another and said:

"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!"

And the posts of the door were shaken
by the voice of him who cried out, and the
house was filled with smoke.

The prophetic word, "In 2007, I will call many Elijahs out of their cave [Thomas]" is correct. The timing of this is given in Isaiah 6. Certain people will die soon. When this occurs, the prophets of the wilderness will be released into the body of Christ.

When this happens, Jesus Christ will be lifted up and exalted ("I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up"). The message of these prophets is Christ-centred in truth. Heaven will truly come to earth. The glory of God will settle on the earth and the whole earth will be full of His glory. A shaking takes place and the Shekinah glory of God - His manifest presence increases significantly ("the house was filled with smoke").

Releasing the prophets

Isaiah 6 : 5-8

Then I said:

"Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of
unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts."

Then one of the seraphim flew to me,
having in his hand a live coal which he had
taken with the tongs from the altar.
And he touched my mouth with it, and
said:

"Behold, this has touched your lips;
Your iniquity is taken way,
And your sin purged."

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:

"Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?"

Then I said, "Here am I! Send me."

Notice the emphasis on the phrase "unclean lips". All that is of the flesh is unclean. Speaking the Word of God apart from His Presence and direction is unclean too. The Word-faith movement is most guilty concerning this - positive confession.

This is the purging of the flesh. It is symbolic to a degree as this purging has already taken place over the past decades in the wilderness. A wind of holiness has been blowing in the wilderness and the flesh has been thoroughly purged from the prophets of the wilderness.

The state of the church

"And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips" (verse 5) indicates the spiritual state of the church of God. Laodicea. Flesh. Own strength. A defiled people. [see Defiling the Temple of God]

Periodically a president of a country delivers a state of the nation speech his nation. It highlights the strengths and weaknesses in the nation. Our Lord gave the state of the church address in Revelation 2-3. The state of the end-time church is summed up in Laodicea's condition. Nothing positive was said about its condition.

The message

Isaiah 6 : 9-10

And He said, "Go, and tell this people:

Keep on hearing, but do not
understand;
Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.

Make the heart of this people dull,
And their ears heavy,
And shut their eyes;
Lest they see with their eyes,
And hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart,
And return and be healed."

Many will reject the word of the prophets. They will not understand as the message is a spiritual message. The natural man cannot grasp its meaning. The truth concerning the flesh is not understood by many. Many have no idea concerning the difference between walking in the Spirit and in the flesh. They read the Word of God; yet are confused. This truth is only revealed by the Holy Spirit to those who truly love Him. Many will stay in their religious ways and remain in Laodicea. However, a remnant will emerge.

This remnant begun with the Third Wave in the 1990's. The fullness of the remnant will be manifested in the coming tidal wave.

Isaiah 6 : 11-13

Then I said, "Lord, how long?" And He
answered:

"Until the cities are laid waste and
without inhabitant,
The houses are without a man,
The land is utterly desolate,
The Lord has removed men far away,
And the forsaken places are many in
the midst of the land.
But yet a tenth will be in it,
And will return and be for consuming,
As a terebinth tree or as a oak,
Whose stump remains when it is cut
down.
So the holy seed shall be its stump."

A New Threshing Sledge

Isaiah 41:15-20

Behold, I will make you into a new
threshing sledge with sharp teeth;
You shall thresh the mountains and
beat them small,
And make the hills like chaff.
You shall winnow them, the wind shall
carry them away,
And the whirlwind shall scatter them;
You shall rejoice in the Lord,
And glory in the Holy One of Israel.

When the poor and needy seek water,
and there is none,
And their tongues fail for thirst,
I, the Lord, will hear them;
I, the God of Israel, will not forsake
them.
I will open rivers in desolate heights,
And fountains in the midst of the valleys;
I will make the wilderness a pool of
water,
And the dry land springs of water.

I will plant in the wilderness the cedar
and the acacia tree,
The myrtle and the oil tree;
I will set in the desert the cypress tree
and the pine
And the box tree together,
That they may see and know,
And consider and understand together,
That the hand of the Lord has done
this ,
And the Holy One of Israel has created
it.

Judgment is coming to the house of God. Threshing. Winnowing. Both the wheat and the chaff are tossed into the air. The coming wind and storm [the coming tsunami] blows away the chaff. The wheat remains. There is coming a thorough separation between those who are truly serving Me and those who are not. Many shall see their own spiritual condition and repent. Others will harden their hearts and depart from the narrow way. The narrow way is the Highway of holiness in the wilderness.

Isaiah 35:8

A highway shall be there, and a road,
And it shall be called the Highway of
Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
But it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road, although a
fool,
Shall not go astray.

I have raised up many in the wilderness over the past years. I have made them into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth! They will thresh the mountains and the hills. That which has been acceptable to My people in the past years will will brought low. The mountains - the teachings, movements and ministries that many esteem highly, but have no substance and lead My people astray will be winnowed thoroughly in the coming hour.

My living water will still flow forth and be found in the wilderness. The glory of Lebanon will continue to come forth from the wilderness - the miracle in the wilderness. (Read more...)

The secret of the wilderness is found close by in Isaiah 40:31:

But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
And they shall mount up with wings like
eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

The mystery of 'waiting on the Lord' has been progressively and more fully unveiled to those in the wilderness.

Look to and listen to those coming forth from the wilderness in this hour!

Some say, 'No direction, no deliverance!' [Isaiah 40:27]. Some say, 'What has been promised is nothing. I don't believe it any more. Is there coming a mighty revival? Many promises. Many prophecies. Have not their words fallen to the ground?'

They are like Alice approaching the proverbial Chester cat at the fork of the road. They ask the Chester cat, 'Which way?' He says, 'Any way will do.'

[Alice in Wonderland – she gets to a fork in the road and she doesn’t know which way to go. There are many different choices that she can make and the Chester cat is sitting up in a tree and she says to the Chester cat, Which way should I go? The Chester cat says , That depends on where you want to get to. She says, I don’t know where I want to go and the Chester cat then says, Well then it doesn’t really matter which way you go – any choice will do.]

The secret of the wilderness is found in verse 31. We need a deep revelation of 'waiting on the Lord'. Those who have been here have found the Way - the Highway of Holiness in the wilderness. This road is the Highway of the coming tsunami.

To paraphrase C.S. Lewis, "In the Lord, the wrong road never becomes the right road." To get back on the right road, we need to go back to where we missed the turn, which is called "repentance."

There are many roads - the road of the Faith movement, the road of the Charismatic movement, the road of the other movements. However, let us be found of the right road in this late hour - the glorious Highway of Holiness coming out of the wilderness of God.

It is a new way. It springs forth from the Charismatic move; yet is not the Charismatic move. It is of a different character - this highway coming forth from the wilderness.

The Majestic Eagle

And they shall mount up [close to God] with wings like
eagles [mount up to the sun]

When the storm approaches with wind, thunder and lightning, lesser birds head for cover. But the majestic eagle spreads his wings, and with a great cry mounts upon the very winds which drove the lesser to cover. Storms are a joy to him for on their mighty updrafts he soars to heights of glory. And he does it effortlessly, letting the wind carry him where lesser birds must beat with frantic wings to stay aloft. Just so, the eagle saint of God sees behind the coming storm the surging, moving power of the Holy Spirit of God, and rises on wings of faith to rest in God's carrying power far above harm and destruction.

All birds fly. The eagle MOUNTS. It first stands on the rock. It is the only bird that understands the winds - the air currents. She waits for the right wind. When the right wind comes, she spreads her wings. She doesn't fly up. She RIDES THE WINGS OF THE WIND. All other birds fly up. They struggle and there is no rest.

What does an eagle do when it is sick? She stands on a rock very still and lets the rays of the sun soak her body. The sun builds up her body and restores her health.

Poor in spirit

Isaiah 41:17

When the poor and needy seek water,
and there is none.

The character and nature of those prepared in the wilderness: dependent on Him. Kim Clement clarifies true humility:

God says, "I am so tired of hearing people speak without My presence. I have watched throughout great churches as they manifest their presence. But Moses, My humble, meek servant, said these words, 'If Your presence does not go with us, we will not go from here.'"

Those who entered the wilderness were held with low esteem amongst the people of God. They forsook everything.

Isaiah 40:29

He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He
increases strength.

Isaiah 41:14

Fear not, you worm Jacob,
You men of Israel!
I will help you, says the Lord
And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel.

However, The Lord has transformed them into a new sledge with sharp teeth! Selah. A humble people completely dependent on Him and whose character is that of the Beattitudes and whose house will stand when the coming tsunami arrives. [Sermon on the mount].
