All of them were members of both NATO and the European Union. These are the only nations that had full voting rights.

Others are OBSERVER or ASSOCIATE countries - 27 counties in total.

PIIGS of Europe = Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain.

The Brussels Treaty was signed on 17 March 1948. This was the beginning of the Western EU union.

Finally, the Spanish Presidency of the WEU, on behalf of the 10 Member States of the Modified Brussels Treaty announced the collective decision to withdraw from the Treaty and to close the WEU organisation by June 2011.[11] The WEU's activities are due to cease by July 2011.[1]

In 2009, the Treaty of Lisbon took over the WEU's mutual defence clause.[1] There was much discussion about what to do with the WEU following the introduction of Lisbon, including plans to scrap it.[8]

Lisbon Treaty has changed the original 10 with full voting rights to the voting rights according to population %.

NATO (incl. US, Canada) = WEST
UNITED NATIONS (veto: US, UK, France, China, Russia) = WORLD

These 10 nations are members of both NATO and the European Union (EU). What binds these 10 nations together is a mutual defense obligation (which means that an attack against one is an attack against all) under Article Five of the modified Brussels Treaty. These 10 nations are also known as the Brussels Treaty Powers.

"There is a deep sadness in this final season. Jesus is weeping both over the spiritual state of His church and the world. This burden of sadness is present in all the apostles whom He has raised up in the wilderness. This Laodicean condition of the church is far worse and widespread than you may think or imagine.

However, His tears form a tidal wave bringing in restoration and revival to many and salvation to the world."
