The prophet, Haggai, spoke of the shaking that would bring many people to Jesus in the last days before the coming of the Lord.

We have seen a powerful economic shaking sweep over the world having its epicenter in America. However, America has not repented. Instead they have voted in a people’s government which is godless bringing in a dramatic change towards socialism and subsidizing abortion abroad. What is God going to do? He is about to bring judgment upon judgment. Sorrow upon sorrow.
A horrific earthquake will soon devastate the US. Kim Clement prophesied of this. David Wilkerson spoke of this in The Vision, 1974 [Chapter 1 - Economic Shaking , Chapter 2 - Earthquake]. It comes after the economic shaking. It is the most tragic earthquake in US history. It will be worse than that of the 9/11 tragedy. Clement says that God says it will take place in California. More. Will America come to repentance then? Will revival come to America in the aftermath of the coming earthquake?
Centuries ago, Laodicea was also destroyed by an earthquake. Apostle Paul warned the Colossians to experience the depths of Jesus Christ, to be rooted in Him, to have depth. Colosse, together with Laodicea, was destroyed by an earthquake. It seems that God shakes the foundations to reveal the true spiritual condition to the Laodicean. Those who are not rooted in Him will be shaken by the earthquake. Those who have learnt to embrace the cross will not be moved. The roots need to go deep and to reach the living water. Laodicea was eventually rebuilt but always had a water problem.
Laodicea today has the same problem. No depth. No living water.

DAVE WILKERSON's VISIONS

Dave Wilkerson, the pastor of Times Square Church in New York City, has spoken out once again concerning God's impending judgment upon this country. He has called on Americans to stock food and water in preparation for "an earth-shattering calamity" that will cause even the most godliest among us to tremble. Once again, as he has done several times before, he tells of visions he has experienced in which he has seen New York City burning, as well as other major cities across the United States.
Many have called or written to ask what I think of Wilkerson's alarming warning. First, let me say that I have the highest respect for Dave Wilkerson. His track record over the years of service in the Lord's Kingdom has shown beyond doubt that he is a man mightily anointed by God's Spirit. The accomplishments of his amazing ministry in New York City are beyond human capability. And although he is a Pentecostal, he has spent a good portion of his ministry speaking out against the emotional excesses and doctrinal errors of both the Pentecostal and Charismatic Movements. I personally began supporting Dave Wilkerson's ministry in 1974 and have continued to do so to this day, for 35 years, by sending him a donation each month. It is the only ministry I have supported that long. After the 9/11 attacks, our ministry raised over $30,000 for emergency relief, and we sent all the money to Dave Wilkerson's church.
For years Wilkerson was the darling of the Pentecostal Movement because of the fame that came his way through his remarkable book, The Cross and the Switchblade — the story of how God worked through him to convert one of the violent gang leaders of New York City. But in 1974, many Pentecostals and Charismatics washed their hands of him because he published a hard-hitting book called The Vision in which he condemned the sins of America, called the nation to repentance, and warned of God's coming judgment if we failed to repent. He was immediately condemned as a "doom and gloom" prophet. Those church leaders who were seeking pillow-prophets with only a positive message decided to pull Wilkerson's books from their church book stores. And the non-Pentecostal and non-Charismatic community wrote him off as some sort of nut case.
Since that time his detractors have harped over and over on two
points: 1) His visions concerning America's destruction have not come true, and 2) There is no need for prophetic words apart from the Bible. My first response to these criticisms is to point out that seldom ever did the prophecies of biblical prophets come true in their lifetimes. For example, many of the prophecies of Isaiah, such as those pertaining to Babylon, did not come true until 150 years after his death. Some were fulfilled 700 years later during the lifetime of Jesus. And most are still waiting for fulfillment 2,700 years later and will not be fulfilled until Jesus returns.
My second point is that the Bible teaches that God never pours out His wrath on a nation without warning, and He warns in two ways — through prophetic voices and remedial judgments. I believe Dave Wilkerson is God's Jeremiah to the United States, and I believe we should pay close attention to his warnings.
Wilkerson believes that our nation has reached the critical point where God has decided — because of our continuing stubborn rebellion — to deliver us from judgment to destruction.
The Bible says that in the end times God will give visions to many people, both male and female, young and old (Joel 2:28-29). All such visions must be tested against the Word.
The visions God has given to Dave Wilkerson showing our major cities burning, with civil rioting in the streets, do not violate any biblical principle. In fact, such destruction and rioting could be the product of any of the end time scenarios I have outlined for America in my book, America the Beautiful?
The United States in Bible Prophecy. I think Wilkerson's warnings are biblically sound. I think we should heed his warnings to prepare for the worst, and I believe we should respond to his call to pray as we have never prayed before for our nation and our leaders. We need to pray also for our churches. We are living on the threshold of the Tribulation.
Jesus is at the very gates of Heaven waiting for His Father's command to return.
The signs of the times are shouting from the heavens that our time is short. Yet, the average church is totally oblivious to the fact that we are living on borrowed time. Rather than preaching repentance, the preaching is focused on feel-good themes in response to the desire of people to have their ears tickled. I am not a Pentecostal or a Charismatic, but I am a person who knows God's Prophetic Word and how God deals with nations. Dave Wilkerson's warnings are right on target, and we would be foolish to dismiss them out of hand. I praise God for Wilkerson's courage to proclaim an unpopular message.
He is being crucified in the press - even by Evangelicals. That's exactly what happened to Jeremiah, except that his people tried to go one step further by attempting to kill him. True prophets are never popular.

A "DOUBLE Dip" DEPRESSION

Lately there have been a lot of noises from economists and politicians that the worst is over - and the economy is now stabilizing and beginning to improve. The stockmarket has even managed to claw its way back over 8000 points. None of this is surprising given that the Government has been pouring hundreds of billions of dollars into the financial system. But it is all an illusion. There will be no true recovery - not for years. I continue to stand by my statements that we are in the beginning stages of a massive, long-lasting Depression. And nothing will stop it.
The good news is that this is going to perform wonders on our culture. People's values and attitudes toward spiritual things are going to change. The church will be massively shaken and purged.
All of this is a huge opportunity for God to get His way - to bring things back to what they are meant to be. But it is going to hurt.
The phrase "A Double-Dip Depression" has been on my heart for many months, so it is no surprise to see a temporary respite. But we need to be aware that it is simply an illusion - so we don't get lulled back to sleep and cease to prepare for what lies ahead.
As most of you know, from 2001 onwards I have been issuing prophetic warnings about this very time we are in. And from 2006 I became more and more specific that it was the HOUSING CRISIS that was about to turn into a Great Depression. Below is a timeline of these warnings - showing us what we should expect directly ahead:
SEPT 11, 2001: "The Horns of American financial power have fallen, have fallen..."
JUNE 2003: "Revival is going to come in the midst of judgments the like of which you've never seen, and God is going to touch your economy..." (-'Thundering in Nashville').
14 DEC 2006: "Let me make some predictions at this point, so I can be clear about what this country is facing:
(1) Firstly, I believe it is IMPOSSIBLE to avoid Judgment...
(2) Expect a great economic crash - and expect it SOON. Without this, how will this nation get its eyes off its great god, Money?
(3) Expect further CALAMITY. This nation is "running red lights"
one after the other. -That is what 9-11 and Katrina were. Things are going to get much much worse before this is over. Expect something to hit the West Coast - and expect it to be BAD."
MARCH 14, 2007: "Eight months ago we began to publish warnings about the bursting of this Housing bubble, and the likely impact it would have... I began to refer to this coming financial judgment in my sermons, saying that in many ways it would be God's MERCY - to shock us out of our complacency and apathy - and to cause us to desperately seek His face...
And now here we are. March 2007. The sub-prime mortgage market is in free-fall. The CDO market is infected. The Yen carry-trade is unwinding. Housing is still sinking with no bottom in sight, and the stockmarket has suddenly become very volatile. It is a slow-motion train-wreck, and this is only the beginning. (-Keep your eye on the DERIVATIVES and the HEDGE FUNDS. -These are the "insurers"
of the markets, and systemic danger lurks in their giant shadows)."
NOV 8, 2007: "I continue to stand by my statement of many months ago that within 3 years this nation will be in a terrible financial depression - possibly the worst that it has ever seen.
Right now, things are right on track to see this fulfilled."
NOV 2007, Wisconsin USA: "This is the last good Christmas America will have for years....
"Here's my scenario. You can test me. You can remember what I'm saying right now.... See if it plays out how I say. In six months time I expect Recession in the United States. 10 MONTHS LATER - Sept/Oct 2008 - The two largest Mortgage giants in the world (Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac) fail, the largest Insurance Company and the largest thrift bank in the USA both collapse, Lehman Brothers goes bankrupt (almost taking the entire financial system with it), Money Markets reel, the Investment banking industry crumbles, and the stock market suffers its worst-ever one-day loss, plunging 777 points in a single day.
24 SEPT 2008: "The DEPRESSION HAS BEGUN".
BACK-TRACK - 31 JAN 2008: "My strong belief is that, particularly in America, this crisis is going to be WORSE than the GREAT DEPRESSION. And it is going to last for YEARS. Other developed nations, such as England, Ireland, Spain, Canada, Germany and even Australasia, are going to be very hard-hit also. China, India and much of Asia will be pounded at first, but I believe will recover faster.... I believe that Christians in America need to face the fact that they are about to live through one of the WORST 5 - 7 year periods that this country has ever seen by far. And they need to be preparing NOW."
OCT 2008: "I am convinced this ‘breaking’ is not merely financial in nature. It is also aimed at the church, the media and the culture...
We are about to see another “Great Reformation” of the church. In fact, it has already begun." (-From Andrew's book, 'SURVIVE the DEPRESSION', Oct 2008).
OCT 2008: "When I was down in Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina there was one Spirit-filled Fellowship that was “thriving” in the midst of the chaos. They had filled their sanctuary with food, clothes, and emergency supplies of all kinds – and they were ministering to hundreds... I cannot tell you how important this is, if we want to “thrive” – not just ‘survive’ - through this current crisis. This is one of the absolute keys... DREAM - The TWO TSUNAMI'S

On Sunday night, March 16th, 2008, I had a dream. First off, it seemed to me that I was viewing through someone else’s eyes through the entire dream.
In the dream I was driving down a freeway in some city. Some other people and I were going to either get a bite to eat, or go for coffee, or something like that. We got off the freeway, and got out of the car. I looked back down the freeway, from the direction we had come, and there was water rushing down the freeway towards us. So, I jumped back into the car, and started driving down the freeway as fast as possible. It seemed like everyone was scared. Eventually, the water caught up to me, and that part of the dream ended.
Suddenly I was somewhere else completely, on a beach somewhere. Some people were watching some big waves come in. They were talking about how the Tsunami would not affect them because they were protected by a land mass off the coast.
It seemed like maybe they were in an inlet of some sort perhaps.
I saw top view for a moment, even to the details of what the land mass off the cost looked like.
I was a bit confused how they could be so confident that they would be unaffected by the coming Tsunami. Just then, a very large wave (maybe 20' high) approached at a very high rate of speed, and no one was able to escape. As it was coming, I formulated a plan to duck under the wave, and swim to the top.
So, I did just that, and I was surfing the wave, without a fear in the world. In fact, I was actually enjoying myself. It seemed odd that I was having fun, which first made me wonder if it really was a dream from the Lord.
After the one wave was finished, a second wave was approaching very quickly. But this time, it was about 300' high. I had the same plan as before. It was a little more difficult, but again, I was able to get to the top, and surf the wave. I found that the wave was swallowing all of the big office buildings, and almost reached the very top of them, but not quite. Then, as I was floating on the top of the water, it began to subside, and go back out to sea.
I asked the Lord what it could mean, but I did not initially get an answer. As I was telling some friends about it, I said “It’s really odd, because usually the Lord gives me the interpretation to my dreams“. Just then, an interpretation formed in my mind.
The interpretation goes like this: I am unsure about the interpretation of the first part of the dream.
The second part of the dream was a similar situation. Many people were in denial about the coming economic collapse, and were thinking they would escape being touched by it. I was confused at how they could just look the other way, as if nothing was going to happen. Suddenly, the first wave came, and I had a plan before it got there, and I was not afraid, but had peace.
In fact, I was enjoying it because I had the peace of God, and did not trust in material things.
Then the second larger wave came, and once again, I had a plan, and was not afraid. The wave reached the top of the big businesses, and almost destroyed many of them. There was very little left.
Furthermore, the second HUGE wave will subside, but I believe our economies (Canada and the US) will never be the same.
For those who are in the rest of God, this time will just be another stepping stone to the coming Kingdom of God. I also believe that this dream is showing that there are going to be two significant events in the economic collapse. The second one will be HUGE, and the first will just be a pre-cursor to the big one.
