The Flying Scroll
By DN Hoets
Truly, 2008 is a year of God's Blessing, Apostolic Authority and the Curse. The Jewish year starts a few months earlier than our calendar year and you will notice that this blessing and curse has already begun.
Remember, too, that God's times are not necessarily mapped according to our years. He has appointed times and seasons which we need to seek out.
The Blessing
Remember what was written earlier concerning the reform at Oral Roberts University.
Lesson: The blessing of God will come from His Sovereign Hand as we turn from the Prosperity Movement to Jesus Christ taking heed to His reformation. The Lord spoke to me earlier this year saying that His blessing would increase significantly from 24 September 2007. This blessing has and is coming to those of the reformation and not to those of mixture.
Haggai 2:19b
But from this day forward I will bless you.
Many have prophecied of the increase and acceleration that is going to come in 2008.
The Curse
Zechariah 5: 1-4
Then I turned and raised my eyes, and
saw there a flying scroll.
And he said to me, "What do you see?"
So I answered, "I see a flying scroll. Its length
is twenty cubits and its width ten
cubits."
Then he said to me, "This is the curse
that goes out over the face of the whole
earth: 'Every thief shall be expelled,' according
to what is on this side of the scroll; and,
'Every perjurer shall be expelled,' according
to what is on that side of it."
"I will send out the curse," says the
Lord of hosts;
"It shall enter the house of the thief
And the house of the one who swears
falsely by My name.
It shall remain in the midst of his house
And consume it, with its timber and
stones."
Haggai 2:10-14 alludes to this seperation which comes from the judgement of God. Haggai 2:15-19 alludes to the blessing of God.
Zechariah, the young prophet, ministers during the same period when the latter temple is being built. Zechariah 4 deals with a single golden lampstand. Remember Revelation mentions seven golden lampstands, the last of the seven representing the final church in the age of grace - the Laodicean church. This last church is alluded to in Zechariah 4 by a single golden lampstand - principle of double reference. Zechariah 5-6:1-8 is an amplification of Zechariah 4:7a. It precedes the crowning of Joshua in Zechariah 6.
Great authority is given to the apostolic movement coming to its fullness in this season. [Haggai 2:23 'and will make you as a signet ring', Zechariah 6:11 'an elaborate crown']
Zechariah 4:7
'Who are you, O great mountain?'
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a
plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"
Simply put, the flattening of the mountain occurs before the latter temple is completed and "the glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former" [Haggai 2:9a]. This refers to the judgement on the Great and Final Apostasy - the Prosperity Movement.
The scroll sent out represents the divine decree of judgement by God and is seen in the natural by Grassley's letters given to six ministries representing the Prosperity Movement.
The curse will enter the houses of the Prosperity ministries throughout the earth and even the houses of some of the Prophetic Movement who refuse to warn the people of God concerning this Great and Final Apostasy. Some so-called prophets today only prophesy good things but never warn the people of God concerning the slippery pathway of the Prosperity Movement and other judgements to come.
Zechariah 5: 5-11 refers to the removal of this wickedness. I do not believe that it will be completely removed but that many saints under these ministries will see the error and turn to the truth in the coming worldwide move of God.
This coming worldwide rivival is truly at the doors!

Zechariah 10: 3a
My anger is kindled AGAINST the
shepherds,
And I will punish the goatherds.
For the Lord of hosts will VISIT His
flock,...
Zechariah 11: 1-3
Open your doors, O Lebanon,
That fire may devour your cedars.
Wail, O cypress, for the cedar has
fallen,
Because the mighty trees are ruined.
Wails, O oaks of Bashan,
For the thick forest has come down.
There is THE SOUND OF WAILING
SHEPHERDS!
For their glory is in ruins.
There is the sound of roaring lions!
For the pride of the Jordan is in ruins.
