The Creflo Dollar $500,000 Africa Meeting

Posted by Yomi on June 20th, 2007, and filed under Church Matters

Here is a report from an Ugandan brother on the acts of Creflo Dollar and others in the word-faith camp. How many more of these do we expect before we call a spade a spade?

A few days ago, I did a post in response to his teaching on the financial status of Jesus, and as usual those blinded to the deception jumped in screaming blue murder. But anyone with enlightenment from God’s Word by the Holy Spirit who has listened to dollar’s messages or read his materials can tell that he is one of those the Bible commands believers to stay away from. Enjoy the story, if you can.

Creflo Dollar in UgandaBy Kato Mivule
June 7, 2007

No one would doubt that we are truly in the last days as The Lord clearly stated and gave us warning in the Book of Matthew 24 about the rise of false prophets and false Christs…

Matthew 24:11-13
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

The Ugandan Christian Church is being hit with these so-called evangelists from the West who purport to be Men of God and Anointed but when one looks critically, these fellows are nothings but robbers and thieves…at best thugs. They have successfully turned the house of God into a place of merchandise in the West and are now viciously turning God’s House in Africa into a place of greed and merchandise.

Now, for those of you who are in the West, Uganda, happens to be a very poor nation and many people live on just a Dollar a day or even less, if they really earn something. However, there has been a steady rise of prosperity preachers who have taken advantage of the situation and are preaching a gospel that Christ wants to make all people rich and that if people give to these “anointed” men of God then they will grow rich and break the curse of poverty.

The most notable pusher of this doctrine in Uganda happens to be Pastor Robert Kayanja of the Rubaga Miracle Center Church in Kampala and so-called Pastor Ssematimba a proprietor of a popular mega FM Station in Kampala that if one listened to it you would hardly believe this guy Ssematimba is Pastor but an Imposter especially when he dubs as preacher on his morning TV show ‘Living in Prosperity’ that airs on UBC, a local TV station…

However, worst is that these prosperity pundits in Kampala are teaming up with one of the greatest preachers insofar as false doctrine is concerned when it comes to material wealth, prosperity and things of this world, Creflo Dollar.

The Pastors are selling what they have so as to raise nearly 700 Million to 1 Billion Uganda Shillings which is equivalent to Half a Million US Dollars so as to sow into the Creflo Dollar Ministries. This drive is spearheaded by Pastor Kayanja who is also known for his pompous lifestyle in Uganda. Kayanja believes that he too will own his own Gulf Stream Jet just like Creflo soon, so does Pastor Ssematimba so they can go “preach the gospel easily”.

According to announcements by Pastor Kayanja in his Rubaga Miracle Center Cathedral, the money has to be raised from the African Pastors in Uganda. This money will be used to cover all the cost of the 1 day evening with Creflo Dollar in Kampala, Uganda’s Capital.

Pastors have already begun giving, some have given their cars, others money including hard cash in US dollars, all in bides to raise the Half Million US Dollars needed to have one evening with Creflo Dollar. One Pastor who drives a Hummer around Kampala streets gave 10,000 US dollars in cash for the Creflo Meeting. Companies and high profile government officials are joining the drive.

Robert Kayanja reasons that if people give and totally cover the costs of the Creflo Dollar Meeting, then Uganda will receive a blessing and the curse of poverty will be broken off those who have given to the anointed man of God whom God ordained to break the curse of poverty.

According to Pastor Kayanja, Ugandan Pastors will pay 50,000 US Dollars for Jet Fuel for Creflo Dollar to fly from Atlanta to Uganda and back, so that would mean 100,000 US Dollars for a return journey. The price includes airport fees and handling charges for the Creflo Dollar Gulf Stream Jet.

They will host a high profile dinner so Creflo can address some Government officials at a 5 Star Serena Hotel just where Benny Hinn stayed recently while in Kampala. The Church is also renovating a toilet at the Church costing 100 Million Uganda shillings approximately 62,000 US Dollars just for a toilet so Creflo dollar can meet Ugandan Christians. The Toilet is to be constructed at the Miracle Center Cathedral owned by Pastor Robert Kayanja. about 700 Million, approximately 437,000 US Dollars is needed for advertisement, Meeting venue (Nambole National Stadium) and other expenses.

It is amazing that all this money is being solicited from the Ugandan Pastors in Kampala so that they can gain blessings and break the curse of poverty over Uganda. If this is not theft and graft with impunity of the highest order, I don’t know what is.

The Title and theme of Creflo Dollar’s meeting in Kampala, Uganda is “Janggu Ogagawale” in Luganda, a local dialect; in English translated “Come and Get Rich”…

This sounds unbelievable cause Creflo would have a very hard time using such a Theme in the United States. However, these imposters calling themselves preachers have no hindrances in Africa, they take full advantage.

However, astonishing and bewildering is the fact that very few Ugandan Pastors are opposed to this meeting and dare even confront Robert Kayanja. It seems that the Kampala Pastors have been totally bewitched and are mind controlled by imposter preachers. We could as well say with Paul in Galatians 3, ‘who has bewitched you, Ugandan Pastors?’ The Bible clearly gives a warning about such men who would rise and deceive many in these last days. What is characteristic about all these pimp and pomp prosperity men is Covetousness and Merchandise.

2 Peter 2:1-3
1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.

The Bible calls such preachers ‘Cursed Children’ who have gone after the ‘way of Balaam’ who loved the wages of unrighteousness. These preachers have forsaken the right way and have eyes full of adultery… Balaam was one prophet who prophesied for money and wages and is the father of the current Prosperity Movement and all preachers who preach for money and see godliness as a means of gain.

2 Peter 2:14-15
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

This Creflo Dollar meeting is nothing less than Creflo Dollar coming to forcefully rape the Ugandan Church. It is nothing short of Kayanja and team committing acts of Obscenity and spiritual pornography. The whole Creflo Dollar meeting in Kampala is one of Obscene Gestures, spiritual Pornography and whoredoms. African Christians stay away from this meeting…it is a pure antichrist meeting.

Footnote: The Lugandan words “Janggu Ogaggawale” on the Creflo Dollar Pimp and Pomp Poster shown above Translated to English say “Come and Get Rich!

This is another example of the utter nonsense that the word of faith camp continues to throw around. And there are those who still think that men who do things like these represent God? Truly, we are in perilious times.

Dollar and Copeland were in Nigeria recently at the invitation of David Oyedepo. It was the same old worldly, earthly-minded stuff nicely wrapped up in spiritual words. Unfortunately, many swallowed it hook, line and sinker. They lacked discernment or boldness to stay away - or both.

Anyone who claims to be true to the Lord should obey Scriptures and stay away from Dollar and his likes. Thanks to Henry for the link.

DECADES AGO, it was accepted amongst mature Christians ... those who did not attend church were backsliders...

TODAY, the church has backslidden. Truly these are the days of Living Laodicea...

Many have been separated by God, and restored as they have entered the wilderness of God...

They still fellowship amongst themselves strengthening each other.

Like Spurgeon in the Downgrade controversy,
we need to be faithful to the word of the Lord in this hour...

We have been prepared by God in the wilderness over the past 20 years...
